It all started on a trip to Lisboa, the city where Fernando Pessoa, one of the greatest portuguese poets, was born and lived most of his life. Drumming Beat of the Stars (O batuque dos astros) is a tribute to Pessoa and an attempt to find, and perhaps reveal, his cinematic vision/suggestion: this strange seed is transplanted through a vigorous and allusive editing process.
