SINGLE SHOT – DESBUNDE

November 12, 2013

Desbunde is not looking into the past, not dying of longing. It is the possibility of repeating something, differently, with brand new eyes. It is to call forth the orgies of the past and engage in voluptuous nights filled with mellifluous gestures, disturbing and intense positions and the stretching of intimate and luscious parts. Desbunde is seeing, becoming uneducated and asking for more. We want more.

The directors Hilton Lacerda and Marcelo Caetano invited the Curta Oito Festival to produce, in association with São Paulo International Short Film Festival, a program in which films with the theme derangement had to be shot in a single take – films should be shot using super-8 and edited directly in the camera (no posterior edition). In association with the curator Fábio Allon, filmmakers and artists were invited to remake and resignify the 1970’s super-8 films in order to generate new insights.
