Washed Hands

Dir: Louise Botkay
8' . Digital . 2015 . RJ

In the post-colonial era, the poor countries are still subject to the same group of nations that colonized them. Europe is at war, but without fanfare. On city streets, as well as in the field, everyone pretends not to know or remember that. There are international cooperation to “help” the poorest countries, leaving the air a smell ofinfinite dependency. This film is this dependency and also about the desire of the “white” people in owning the cliché image of the extreme African poverty.
