In the scene, a bride gets ready for her wedding day. On background sound, young girls from Rio middle class tell their experience and ideas on virginity, wedding, sex and politics. During the dictatorship, Helena Solberg made her first film, putting in question femininity patterns. Through editing, she connects female oppression to the military repression happening in the country.

Helena Solberg began her career at the Cinema Novo movementes, directing and producing several documentaries on Latin America. She directed films such as Carmem Miranda: Banana is My Business (1995), Diary of a Provincial Girl (1995) and A alma da gente (2013).
