In 2050, a new virus is discovered. It passes on through human saliva and affects mainly the transgender population. To patient zero, as well as to each one seen as “risk group” in this future, life goes on in São Paulo, as it is delimited in quarantined districts, ethical arguments, theories within the pharmaceutical industry and a negligent state.

Luiz Roque

Born in Cachoeira do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1979. A visual artist, he works with photo, sculpture, film and video. Recent exhibitions include “Amor e Ódio à Lygia Clark” (Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw, 2013) and “The Violet Crab” (David Roberts Art Foundation, London, 2015), among others.
